Château de Villerambert has the rare possibility of offering several different areas which can be combined depending on your needs and which are available all year round. For weddings, the whole of the site is available, for other events you can choose from the other function rooms, depending on your requirements.
A large grass carpark with around 120 spaces, big enough for a helicopter to land, is included in all our hire options.
The Main Courtyard
Behind the main 17th century ironwork gate in the ramparts, the Courtyard is situated just in front of the chateau itself.
Accessible by wheelchair, its 800m² is a fabulous location for your cocktail party, open-air concert or product presentation (luxury cars, for example).
The Orangerie
This magnificent room which has recently been carefully restored, has been designed to bring a touch of glamour to your reception. Its 300m² can accommodate between 100 to 240 people sitting, depending on the table layout you choose. It is equipped with an independent sound system with 10 speakers, reversible air-conditioning, caterer’s area and its own cloakroom.
The Chapelle
The former chapel at Villerambert, restored in 2002, offers a area of 60m² which leads directly out onto the Courtyard and is an ideal space for little ones and their nannies separate from the festivities, whilst not being too far away.
The Grand Couloir
The recently restored Grand Couloir of the chateau, is an example of 16th century architecture complete with its original floor and the main staircase. It leads to the Medieval Hall and the Vaulted Cellar, which for a cocktail party can, together,r hold a further 40 people standing..
The Medieval Hall
This room with its medieval atmosphere created by the exposed beams and joists, as well as the large, working fireplace can accommodate 20 people for an intimate meal, 40 for a luxury dinner, or, together with the Grand Couloir and the Vaulted Cellar, up to 100 people for a cocktail party.
The Vaulted Cellar
With its vaulted stone ceiling, this is one of the oldest rooms in the chateau. Its perfect acoustics make it an ideal place for an intimate concert. The room can hold up to 60 people seated, as well as having enough room for the orchestra or band. The attached tower can either be used as a bar area or the artists dressing room. In case of rain it can hold up to 160 people standing up for a cocktail party. Its peacefulness makes it the ideal room for a class, workshop or meeting.
